History

The Grampion Group is a privately-owned construction group that formed in 2015 bringing together a group of skilled and successful companies under one brand and a shared set of values to form a business that is capable of operating at a multi-disciplinary capacity. Since its formation the business has undertaken various projects worldwide and has undertaken projects in civil, commercial and residential for a wide array of clients from private enterprises to national and local governments.

The company directors collectively have over 100 years’ experience in construction of both civil, industrial, commercial and residential developments and have assembled an extraordinary group of industry professionals with unmatched experience in all facets of the construction field. We pride ourselves on being of entrepreneurial spirit with a tremendous work ethic and expertise to create world-class facilities for our clients.

Safety is an integral part of everything we do.

The Grampion Group is determined to provide and maintain a safe workplace for all staff, subcontractors, clients, suppliers and visitors.  We work closely with clients to understand their health and safety requirements, in order to ensure compliance with their safety systems and provide safe project management teams.

At Grampion we believe all incidents can be prevented by fostering a strong safety culture and integrating safety within all our activities.  We understand that a safe work environment means employees must be fit for work and able to perform their work tasks in a secure, productive and effective manner.

THE BOARD

MJ WALSH
MJ WALSHChairman
MJ started his career in construction over 30 years and ago has spearheaded 1000s of homes as well as various civil and commercial projects on behalf of international and local governments and private enterprises. Mj was one of Irelands Celtic tiger eras most prolific housing developers and overseen the development of one of central Irelands largest housing schemes delivering 700 houses and 200 apartments with all phases selling out in record time. Mj is known for his tight management of projects and for getting the impossible done.. Mj has also been involved in large scale civil projects in Ireland Uk, France, Kenya and Jordan and feels proud to have overseen projects that make a huge difference to the lives of people living in the local areas. Mj grew up on a farm and he would count agriculture as one of his passions and along with his construction commitments he also has a 1500 acre farm holding in France produces crops and meat to the European markets.
RONAN MCKENNA
RONAN MCKENNAManaging Director
Ronan holds a RICS accredited BSC (HONS) in property development and investment awarded by Cardiff university and has a plethora of experience in procurement, development and sales of complex residential and commercial schemes across Ireland Uk and Canada. Ronan started out running a real estate and auctioneering firm in Ireland before emigrating to Canada when the financial crises hit in 2007. He joined forces with Everest development group working on a complex procurement of a large mixed-use scheme which included commercial, industrial and hotel space servicing the oil fields in Alberta Canada. Ronan moved to the Uk in 2010 where he held a directorship with one of west London’s largest property firms OOl where he headed up the land and development department. Ronan is currently a director of a pub chain in London where he brings a abundance of business management experience and systems and also holds a directorships in a meat processing plant in wales where he leads the sales and funding side of the business. Ronan has overseen various commercial fit outs and residential developments in London and across Europe and is very efficient on ensuring timelines are met.
JAPHITH KIPRONO
JAPHITH KIPRONOProject Manager Africa
Japhith started his career as head of state house security for the Kenyan government which he spent 20 years planning and executing measures to ensure government officials and events went smoothly. This was an important and detailed role which thought Japhith the prolific skills he possesses today in planning and management. Japith developed a passion for construction while building his own home and has 15 years experience managing medium and large-scale projects on behalf of government and private individuals. He holds an impeccable record for time management and this is the reason he gets projects completed on time.
GEZIM NIKOLLI
GEZIM NIKOLLIProject Director Europe
Gezim began his construction career over 20 years ago and has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry including Kier Group and Coffey Construction. Gezim has advanced knowledge of multi-use and complex schemes and his clients would describe him as the go to guy when a job could not be done. His portfolio includes multiple hotel schemes, bank schemes and high level infrastructure projects. Gezim has experience in managing projects in over 10 countries across Europe and beyond and is a vital member of the Glampion Group and a very popular figure at industry events. Gezim has a strong eye for detail and takes great pride in ensuring that his projects exceed expectations. Residing in London he has two kids and is a keen supporter of various causes and events in his local community.
SAMUEL WALSH
SAMUEL WALSHProject Director
Samuel started out his career in construction 40 years ago while developing agriculture warehouses in his native Ireland. Samuel is a skilled farmer owning large holdings in France, Ireland and Kenya and he is also on the board of directors for one of Europe’s largest meat processing plants. Samuel was responsible for the construction of a large part of this plant and obtaining government licences for the plant which is one of the area’s biggest employers. This was a landmark project dealing with the welsh government to ensure the plant was saved and a clear example of Samuel’s skill to manage a project through to completion.
